Zhou Yusen, along with his wife Lanying Du was on an NIH grant with Peter Hotez as PI. Some of the work was approved to be performed at AMMS in Beijing.

As I explained: by "fake" I mean their provenance is fake. Specific viruses may be synthetic artificial constructs - which can be used in animal experiments, although some are likely to exist only in silico.

By "fake" I mean not genuine viruses from pangolins. Artificial constructs most likely - particularly i the spike gene.
